Townspeople Apartments

For the 34-unit we installed a solar photovoltaic (PV) system with financial assistance from the California Solar Initiative’s Multifamily Affordable Solar Housing (MASH) Program. During the dedication event, CCSE presented Townspeople Inc. with a rebate check from the MASH program for $136,014.

The solar PV system will benefit residents by lowering their utility costs by approximately $290 a year per apartment!

At the school, we installed lucid™ Building Dashboard kiosks that the kids can use to see what the system is producing real time. This is a fun and interactive way to educate students about solar technology and how it reduces pollution and electricity costs.
